Executive Team

Mary Pat Stroia
Founder and CEO

Ms. Stroia has 25+ years in hospital management, new business and physician development, network development with health systems, international healthcare, new hospital development, hospital acquisitions, physician recruitment, contracting and physician practice management, academic healthcare operations, consulting, executive search and healthcare start-ups. She is a proven leader in network & physician development/alignment as well as hospital operations. Ms. Stroia most recently served as Executive Vice President, Allegheny International Services ME a start-up international healthcare management company. Previously she held a senior leadership role as Senior Director of Business Development, Kindred Healthcare, a Fortune 500 company.

Ms. Stroia also held various senior administrative roles at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania including Vice President of Operations. Ms. Stroia holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves on several community non-profit boards and is active in the political arena.

Joe Garuccio
Chief Clinical & Operations Officer

Mr. Garuccio has 35 plus years of successful experience in the clinical provision of healthcare, healthcare management and business and physician development. He has held senior executive leadership roles in uniquely challenging environments including for-profit, not-for-profit, and academic healthcare. He is a results-oriented proven leader in network and physician development. In particular, he is known for development of strategic partnerships, physician recruitment/retention and census and network
development. His clinical and operational background serves as a basis for enhanced analysis and communication with clinicians. Mr. Garuccio is a licensed respiratory therapist and has practiced and taught in his speciality. Other areas of specialty include Hyperbaric Oxygen, Pulmonary and Sleep. Additionally, he has been involved in IRB Research and has published in several journals.

Paul Eiseman
Chief Development Officer

With over 30 years of successful hospital/healthcare development and acquisitions, strategic planning, physician alignment as well as related management experience, Mr. Eiseman’s particular concentration in initiating partnerships has fostered stronger hospital management ventures. As a senior executive at Kindred Healthcare for 12 years and Regent Surgical Health for 7 years, Mr. Eiseman has extensive experience in management, budgets, and contracts. At Kindred, Mr. Eiseman led the team to develop thirty hospitals and the company also acquired an additional nineteen hospitals he originated for Transitional Hospitals Corporation. For Regent, his responsibility included market identification, feasibility studies, regulatory approvals, syndication of joint venture of surgery centers with physicians and hospitals. Mr. Eiseman most recently served as a consultant and adviser to Allegheny International focusing on growth of network relationships and recruitment of visiting physician specialists.

Mr. Eiseman has a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from George Washington University in Washington D.C. Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University.

Nick Mezza
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mezza serves as CFO of a Regional Medical Center. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Doha Clinic Hospital and CFO of Kuwait Hospital through his arrangement with Allegheny International Services ME. Nick Mezza served as the CFO for a non-for-profit Psychiatric Mental Health Organization, The Consortium in Philadelphia and Regional CFO for a post acute provider. He is a results-oriented manager with 22 years of diverse healthcare experience. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Accountancy from the University of Central Lancashire, England. Mr. Mezza immigrated to America, carrying two suitcases and only armed with his degree, he quickly grew from his first job in America of counting coins from newspaper dispensing machines, to having a strong repetition of turning Hospitals around financially and operationally.

Mr. Mezza has worked in five different states, two different countries, and most health care fields, from SNF, to IRF, LTAC, Psych and Acute care hospitals. Occupying senior finance roles in all locations, both locally and nationally. Nick loves the challenge, and is an operational CFO.
